Ampere Analysis is working on behalf of ScreenSkills and Channel 4 in the TV & film industry to gain a deeper understanding of both the size of the sector and the range of individuals who work within it. We have developed a survey for this purpose, for which all responses we collect will be totally anonymous.

The survey will take approximately 10 minutes to complete and includes questions about the number of film & TV productions you’ve worked on and in what capacity (both live action and animation, and including post-/VFX), and other topics related to your experience in the industry. Your participation is incredibly valuable to us and will help us to understand the UK's screen workforce and their needs, and we greatly appreciate your time and input.

Our data collection provider, Dynata, is hosting the survey and will collect your responses on our behalf and provide the responses to us. Ampere Analysis will be the organisation with the control over the personal data you provide when you complete the survey, and Dynata is our data processor.

The survey has some questions that pertain to sensitive topics. Such topics include your ethnicity, sexuality and whether you have any disabilities. The information around these topics is being collected to assess equality, diversity and inclusion in the industry. We are required to seek your consent to process this sensitive personal data before you provide it to us. If you do provide us with consent at this point, you can still withdraw your consent at any time, and have the option of opting out of each individual sensitive question when it arises later in the survey. Our team will carry out a review of your responses. Once the review is complete, we will report back to our client.

We will not share your personal data (including any sensitive personal data you provide) with our client, as it will be anonymous, aggregated, and include no personally identifiable data when the results of the survey are shared. In short, once Dynata has provided the results of the survey to us, your personal data is kept securely within our organisation.

If you have any access requirements in relation to this survey please contact daniel.monaghan@ampereanalysis.com.

Do you consent to the collection and processing of the sensitive personal data you provide us with when you complete the survey?
